Stonehenge is probably the most famous archaeological site in England. Much of it remains a mystery including its purpose and construction methods but it is a special place and a must-see if visiting England. It is only about 90 miles (137 kilometers) from London.

Hampton Court Palace was the home of Henry VIII. The grounds are expansive and the inside of the Palace is a wonderful trip back in time.
